Best Mother's Day Card I've ever received, written by my 8-year-old:

To: Jana (Mom)
From: Rug (your daughter)

We have been tohger* for 8 years and I Have loved you for 8 years. 8 years is alot. Mother's Day is better then my birthday. I like my birthday because the older I get the more time I've been with you!
* together, I'm assuming.

Is that not the best? Nothing like trying to make it about me but really it's pretty much about her. I love it.
