Just a Quick One

Has anyone noticed how alike 2 month babies are to sloven frat boys? My daughter is sitting here on my lap after her bottle completely wasted as if to say, "Duuuude, I just slammed that, I've gotta crash." Plus she farts a lot.

I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, and blogging has taken a backseat. It seems like a lot of the blogs I used to read are going away as well. I hope I do not have to threaten some of my favorite reads if they too decide to call blogging a defunct pasttime (Mrtl, TKW, Kristine and Kalki--I'm talking to you!). And by threaten I mean threaten to subject them to emails filled with angels and fairies and Neiman Marcus cookie recipes. Beware!

In the meantime, I've booked my flight and hotel for Vega$. We are staying at Bally's and renewing our vows at the Wee Kirk O' The Heather Chapel. I booked it because it sounded Irish, but turns out it's actually Scottish. But what do I care, I'm mostly German anyway.

LP & I have decided to walk down the aisle to the Wedding March from Flash Gordon and leave to "Welcome to the Jungle". It only seems appropriate.

I'm really excited, as LP & I have never been to Vegas and we have an entourage of about 12 other people going with us. LP & I do not gamble, but we do engage in other risky businesses so we plan on having a great time.

10 years is a long time to be married, I don't care who ya are. And considering that 10 years ago I was 4 months pregnant, I think it's cause for celebration--especially because 50% of our wedding guests did not give us very good chances of us making it past one year. Yet here we are, with a 2 month old to boot!! (not that I would boot her, she's pretty cute.)

Speaking of, my camera is working fine but the software to download pictures is on the fritz, that is why no recent picture of Miss M. But trust me she is growing too fast already!

Well if anyone has good Vegas advice, please fill me in. And no we will not be needing any coupons for the "Chicken Ranch" thankyouverymuch.

Gah! NOT the angel & fairy emails! Anything but that. But not to worry - I'm not going anywhere. I think for pretty much everyone, though, blogging is tidal. Sometimes there is so much to say, other times not so much. I used to force it more, but now I just go with the flow.

This cracked me up:

Ten years! Very impressive.

Ten years? Duuuuuuuuuuuude...that is a very, very, very long time. I tip my hat and glass to you both.

Ummmmm yeah, I'm not going anywhere...I pretty much don't have much else to do in life other than blather about absolutely nothing on the internet.

I just went to vegas in December....what a great time-
Visit the stratosphere....It'll be a little windy right now, but it's a must see.
Take the bus. All day, 5 bux, 24 hrs beats cab fares.
GO SEE CIRQUE DE SOLIEL (even if you have already) - i saw Mystere'- what a fabulous show. Can't say enough about it.
The roller coaster outside of NY NY will crank your neck, but the inside of that hotel is all like NY, and it's really nice to see- esp if you've never been there.
Go see the volcano and the water fountain show on the hour after dark outside the Mirage hotel. Its beyootiful and BRING A CAMERA!
***thinking***
A million people will stop you and ask you if you're "together" as a couple- before you waste your time, they are trying to sell time shares. Tell them you're cousins. LOL-and ignore the guatamalan pimps too.
I also stayed at Bally's, but I didn't spend much time there. There is a little food place across the side street (forgot what it's called) chinese place but they have an eggs breakfast REAL cheap all night. Hard to find food without going far at 3-4 am. lol
Oh, and Bally's food? We did champagne BRUNCH once, we were in line for breakfast, but the line was long, so by the time we got thru, it was Brunch, 21.00 a person all you can eat but it was pretty decent. I ate good, didnt' feel stuffed and wasn't hungry until later on that night. I dont' suggest doing that every night there are plenty of places to eat. Something quick? NY NY sicilian pizza. A little further sit down for Hooters, great burgers and wings. :)
Have a blast- got any more ? email me I got tons of ideas (as you can tell) lol
